Desert view watch tower, visitors center, geology museum, and pizza dinner at the Maswick Lodge. Gideon was sick the entire day. Every time we got in the car or on a bus he fell asleep almost immediately. I felt bad, but he did so good. He hardly complained, just slept every chance he got.

Car racing and baby walking
Taking a few steps. He has been doing this since just after Brady left at the beginning of March, but I have never caught a good video of his new skills. The most steps he has taken at once is six. He'll be fully walking before we know it.

Two more teeth
Yesterday at church I heard Rydon grinding his teeth, but he didn't have any top teeth to do that....until I checked his mouth. Sure enough, on the right side a front tooth and the side one next to it are in! This explains the copious amounts of burgers the last few weeks. During relief society a lady sitting next to me kissed his forehead and left evidence. All the women, young and old, sure love on this little man.

First haircut
My friend and her husband, our home teacher, came over Saturday morning to hold Ayla and Rydon down so I could cut their hair. It was a busy morning having done the three older boys earlier. It was Rydon's first haircut. I cut all the red hair off and now he looks like a little kid instead of a baby. Amazing what a haircut can do. Now he looks like Gideon.

Blue and gold
Last night was our troop blue and gold banquet. We had a western theme with brown bag vests and nachos for dinner. Each kid got to color their vest.

Hanging out with Dad
Spending the afternoon with my Gidkid. He asked to get ice cream at the "new" ice cream store. He says his favorite flavor is the white one, because it "tastes like snow in Idaho."
